Compete ao tabelião de notas praticar os seguintes atos notariais: a) lavrar escrituras públicas; b) lavrar procurações e testamentos públicos; c) aprovar testamentos cerrados; d) lavrar atas notariais; e) reconhecer firmas e chancelas; f) autenticar cópias.
